You will first need to configure our debian repository: curl -sS | sudo apt-key add - echo "deb stable non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt//spotify. The suspended process will now run in background. What you have to do here is to use Ctrl+Z to suspend the running process and then use ‘ bg‘ (short for background) to send the process in background.
